Jadi maskot England.", "Maybe in their next life.", "Suckkkkk it England!", "What's the difference between England and a tea bag? The tea bag stays in the cup longer.", and more and more of it.
Some compared the England team to the fighting spirit of the Korean team despite their loss.
Some even said that Australia was better than England. Even they lost the same amount, they played 10-men (Tim Cahill was sent off).
What else? Oh, hear this, "Even if that goal counts, England would've still lost anyway." Really?
As if it was some kind of "I'm really happy now we have finally send all the bloody terrorists into the grave. The world is FREE-TERRORIST." kind of joy. Kind of shocking to see the celebration.
You see, first of all, I agree, the defense line was POOR. John Terry should've been shot to death for his off-position and slow reactions throughout the game. Just watch all the four goals and look where he was. Yes you can blame Gareth Barry, Matthew Upson or the rest of the lads, but he is a SENIOR player, was once the Captain, until he couldn't keep his dick in his pants and went for his ex-teammate's ex-girlfriend. That's what happened to him. His reputation is tarnished, so is his playing ability, in football I mean. Yeah same goes to you Ashley Cole!
Wayne Rooney? God, he tried. Lionel Messi tried too. Still no goal.
But just before that, last week, when Germany lost to Serbia, nobody said bad thing about them. What I heard was "Klose was not supposed to be sent off.", or "They played 10-men, should give some credits to Germany.", or anything along the line. When Germany lost, we should excuse them.
At least England didn't lose any group matches.
Last night, Frank Lampard's goal was WRITTEN OFF. It was a clear cut case, not like some kind of 50/50 decision. What would happen IF the goal was allowed? By right it should be 2-2. So there's a fair chance for England to keep their spirit high.

What happened when the goal was not counted? Germany had tremendous moral boost at half time. It gave them the advantage to start the second half with one goal in front. Same goes to the statistic that Barcelona FC never lose a game if they lead at half time. See what I mean? Solid ground to start for second half, a change of tactics, more defensive strategies, delaying game, and lastly, quick opportunity for counter attack.
For those who never played any kind of competitive sports, you have no idea.
Just what happen to good sportsmanship? I didn't know we should cheer-slash-attack the losing team. Shouldn't we just praise the winning team instead?

Yeah how could a team who had 55% possession played terribly? That means Germany who had only 45% possession won the game by just doing few counter attacks, didn't they?
Does this mean they played a more defensive strategy? Or they couldn't hold the ball for too long?
Whatever it is, I thought the Germans were effective. They snatched the opportunities laid in front of their feet.
England could've played better. I thought they were okay, they had few good chances, if not for the poor performance by the back lines. But under a few, no, under ONE circumstance which I believe everyone is familiar with, denied their fair chance to fight harder.
"They are world class players, and their league is dubbed 'the best league in the world', they should have bounced back. No excuse." I'm sure many people would say something like this.
I'm not a strong fan of England, but since I watch EPL and the players most of the time, I kinda like the team. I will not pretend that I hate them whatsoever. I think it's not their fault everyone thinks they are the best team in the world. The media made them look that way.

They are at #8 in the rankings. Spain lost to Switzerland. Italy failed to make the last 16 cut, even though they are the defending champion. France were the 2006 runner-up, and they ended last in their group stage!
I seriously think this is just shallow hatred towards the English football. It's like you see ABU (Anything But United) people, they hate for no reason.
It's football. And we always use this phrase "bola itu bulat" but still, we use only when we see fit.
