Health, Wealth and Stealth.

On behalf of myself, I would like to thank all of you who wished for my joyful birthday, and not to forget those who wished they should have could have would have wished the same thing to me: I thank you too.

I am grateful for all the reminders, of which telling me how many years I have remained on this Earth, and how many years left of the remain.

As for me, I still wish and work for my health, my wealth, and my stealth. It is rather obvious why this was also my last year's wish, and years past. Speaking of classic.

However, I do hope the noble birthday alert by Facebook reminds you of me for the meaningful moment(s) we had together. And I look forward to more meaningful years ahead.

To those who love me, I'm still waiting for my birthday gifts.

Those who hate me, I'm still waiting for my money.

STATIK : GELAP

This is an incredible song. I'll tell you why.

If you follow the progress of this band, you will never guess that they will achieve a song composition of this quality. Especially if you prefer husky deep bass vocals or high pitch long stretched vocals. yes many have been influenced by the akademi fantasia / american idol propaganda which shouts how vocal talent is standardized through just one stream of measure and unique sounds is never appreciated. if you are one of the victims of commercial influence, then this band is not for you. these guys instilled confidence in what they already have and does not wish to be like any other band.

Thus it is a well thought decision to include their own strength while ignoring false ambitions of imitating already famous and successful bands. So what impressed me with this song is how far better it is from their previous singles. Their past efforts was to me perceived to be generally accepted by those who are fans and followers but not new listeners. (just an expression of the standard). It's one of those tracks that needs you to listen to it a few more times for you to get the hang of the melody before you can actually start to appreciate.

The track GELAP did not drift away from their mellow poetic fashion or their unique vocals or the simple catchy clean riffs. What they did was they focused on what they have mastered is which is the tweeked vocals, typical mellow chords and deep lyrics while exploring certain modification of reverbs in riffs and spot-on timing of closed high hat combination with kick drums. the duration of the build-up was quite short but well presented with crash sounds coming in just in time when the first note of the chorus hit your eardrums.

STATIK's brilliance silenced speculations on the possibility of indie scene coming to its end. You haven't seen nothing yet!

The best show of the year, yet.

It's almost a month ago, but I (or we) still can visualise every single moment of the rockatrip. Too awesome. I'll let Kid Kapital describe it, since he was the catalyst on this journey.

By the way shout out to our friend from J-Town, Putra Petir for the hospitality, and did you say "Lucy in the Sky?" in the interview?? Niceeeeee....

Contribution

Who cares for the environment?

What do I care if anyone throws away cigarette buds into the drain and goes to the river and eventually wash away and end up into the sea, and then eaten by turtles and they die from choking and intoxaced and you don't see turtles in Terengganu and Perhentian Island anymore?

What does it have to do with me when our water is highly polluted with every kind of hazardous chemicals that even after being processed in so-called 'treatment plants' we still can't even drink it straight from our own water tap?

Why do I have to carpool?

Why am I getting all these bullshits about deforestation when I never been into any federal reserved forests in Malaysia?

Is our world getting hotter because suddenly so many people nowadays suddenly turned to be fashion models?

What difference does it make if I'm the only one collecting plastic bottles and aluminium cans and old newspapers and old batteries and drunkard's bottles?

Why so serious about this?

Here's why: Eco Film Fest.

Usman menghela nafas panjang.

Ali menundukkan kepalanya dalam-dalam.

Isyarat itu telah datang. Saatnya sudah tiba
.

***

Matahari kian tinggi, tapi pintu rumah Rasulullah masih tertutup.

"Bolehkah saya masuk?" tanyanya.

Dialah malakul maut," kata Rasulullah.

Fatimah menahan ledakan tangisnya.

"Khabarkan kepadaku, bagaimana nasib umatku kelak?" tanya Rasulullah.

"Jangan khuatir wahai Rasul Allah, aku pernah mendengar Allah berfirman kepadaku: 'Kuharamkan syurga bagi siapa saja, kecuali umat Muhammad telah berada di dalamnya'," kata Jibril.

Detik-detik semakin dekat, saatnya Izrail melakukan tugas. Perlahan ruh Rasulullah ditarik. Nampak seluruh tubuh Rasulullah bersimbah peluh, urat-urat lehernya menegang.

"Ummatii.. Ummatii.. Ummatii.."
